The GOAL of Reading Strategies: A Guide for Parents and Caregivers is to educate parents and caregivers on the same reading strategies experienced teachers use in the classroom.

The PURPOSE of all workshops is to prove you don’t need a lot of money to teach reading, you just need to know what to do. The materials to teach reading can be found at home or and the suggested books to read can be found in the library.

What Skills Can We Teach While Reading?

Each lesson has the steps to follow and the suggested books to read. As you repeat the lesson with each book, you are reinforcing that reading strategy, mastering the skill, and moving toward fluency!
